Elyse's 5th birthday

Our birthday girl and her yearly roses from her daddy.

This year she got spoiled because she didn't just get her number in years in roses, this time she got a whole dozen!

Elyse makes me smile.

Her personality reminds us of the little mouse from "If you give a mouse a cookie"
She is a wonderful little girl and I am so thankful to the Lord for her.
I couldn't imagine life without her... especially with a house full of boys! =)

Beautiful...

Left to right,
Kerri R., Alana P., Marcail W., Anne H., Reece E., Elyse and Jessica H.,

I think everyone knows how much Elyse loves to chew gum...
She got at least 5 packets of gum!!!
She was very excited. I guess she has gum to last a lifetime!!! =) or at least till next week.=)

Girls' Tea Party at Kerry Roy's

Left to right...Marcail W., Anne H., Elyse, and Kerry.
Such perfect little girls!!!

Not!!!

I think I was 6 years old when I wore this dress.
I was a flower girl in my Uncle Victor and Aunt Margarita's wedding.

Jamye served them hot tea or hot chocolate with, pastries and quiches.
I think that the tea set was hers since she was 8 years old.
Very nicely decorated!!!
Made me wish I was a little girl again. =)

All the girls seemed to really enjoy themselves.
Hi everyone!
These are some very recent ones of our baby actually taken today.
Isn't he so precious!!! I know the mother crow came out in me!!! =)

Matthew is 6 weeks old already.

Told you he's adorable...

My men are actually working in my laundry room. They are trying to set up my new
front-loader washer and dryer!!!

Can you see the washer still in the box?
It better get ready for all the jeans it'll be washing! =)

Our Little Matthew

I took these a couple of weeks ago.

He really is so cute to take pictures of. Well... at least I think so.=)

I have some crazy ideas that don't always come out the way I wanted them exactly but, I still liked them.
I love this one!

Aren't these so cute?!!!
The rest of these pictures didn't really turn out,
He was making funny faces hanging from the tree! =)

Oh dear... back to school tomorrow!

The week before baby's arrival

Eric and the kids made a nice toasty fire in our back yard and the kids had so much fun making dinner out there. They reheated some potato soup, fried some bacon, made some biscuits in a dutch oven and had hot chocolate and marshmallows for dessert.

They tied three branches together with vines and then hung a kettle to heat water for the hot chocolate.

I didn't get a picture of the bacon that was hanging over the fire on this branch but, as you can see it is all greasy. That was mighty good bacon.

Of course what is a fire without any marshmallows! That was so much fun.

These are some pretty smoky, smelling kids who had so much fun on one autumn day in November!

Michael, The Photographer!

Our little photographer and his littlest brother asleep on the couch.
So, So, Precious!

Michael likes to get our camera and take pictures.
I think he's done pretty good.

He seems to have a good idea of what to look for.

I love this one!!! Good job Michael!

Here is Matthew at 5 days old.
Michael took these when he had just eaten and was wide awake!
We really are having so much fun!

Matthew with 1 T or 2 T's

O.k. You all are going to laugh at us because we couldn't decide if we want one t or two t's in the baby's name. I think we decided on 2 t's. Hopefully that is the last time we change it. =)

This is Eric. Suza is with Mathew and left her blog open. So I wanted to jump on here and let you know the "rest of the story." Or rather the story up until this point about Mathew's name.
The truth about Mathew's name is we went back and forth and decided on 1 t. Our midwife sent us a draft of Mathew's birth certificate for review and after much discussion we decided to change his name to the more traditional Matthew with 2 t's. So we called the midwife only to find out that there was some sort of mistake and Mathew's information has already been sent to the state and somewhat finalized. We are told that this should not be a big issue we just need to contact and let them know that how we would like our child's name to appear on his birth certificate. This may sound easy but we have just one problem, neither Azusena nor I am good at following up with this kind of stuff. I have a package of underwear in the closet that are the wrong size and have been there for over two months because neither of us has found the time to return it. Mind you there are many other items in our possession that do not fit us and can be easily returned but never seem to make it of the door of our house and back to the store we bought if from. I say all this to say I am not holding my breath when it comes to changing the spelling of Mathew's name to Matthew. We will keep you posted on what happens.

Eric
