We were so blessed to have had a safe trip to and from CA.
We were so thankful to have been able to stay in an awesome little cabin 100 yds. from the lake!!!
So happy we could spend our time with our family!
I enjoyed every moment we spent there...
So thankful to the Lord for the blessings that He so  freely sends our way....

 More fun projects...

Oobleck

2 cups of cornstarch
1 cup of water
mix...
and play with it

One of those projects that even adults want to make and play with.

If you move it around quickly, its consistency will be solid.
If you stop moving it around it becomes liquid!

If you have a sub-woofer it should dance to the vibrations....
We don't have one :(

Fruit Roll Ups!
 4 cups of strawberries
4 cups of apples
Boil, mash and puree'
The hard part is waiting for it to dry.... like 10 hours!
Roll up and cut!

Michael turned 14 years old back in April.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights....
I can't thank Him enough for how He blesses me day by day.

A Dinner for Grampa and Gramma....

Eric and I went away on a business trip to Austin for four days.

As a thank you for watching our children and letting us enjoy a long weekend to ourselves,

we decided to put on a nice fancy dinner for my family.

First part of the meal was the appetizer.  Jalapeno poppers made by Cameron and Elyse.

Next was a house salad....

Then the potato bacon chowder....
The main meal was Fettucini Alfredo.

Then a nice Coffee Crumble Cake made by Cameron.
We had such a good time planning this dinner and the kids really seemed to enjoy it and just made the evening go by so smoothly.
Of course the dressing up as waiters and a waitress was my idea, but they didn't mind too much!
This is totally my opinion, but I think we really impressed my folks!  (Which was part of the plan!)
In the end my dad gave a tip to each kid which was a surprise for the them!
It was a memorable evening...  I am so thankful for my family.
I am so blessed....
(I so bummed I didn't get a picture of my brother Jr.  He was also here.)
