Chili Cookoff 2012!
Theme: Storybook Characters

Matthew as "Go Dog, Go"

Jack and Annie from "The Magic Treehouse"

Cameron as Wyatt Earp and Michael as Encyclopedia Brown

This year was my first Girls' Camp EVER!
We didn't have them when I was growing up, and
Eric and Elyse usually go together while I stay home with ALL
the boys!

Carleen Bishop and Matthew

The Bike Ride

I really don't mind staying home with all my boys,
knowing that Elyse will have some wonderful memories with just
her and her daddy!
What a lovely thought!=)

More School Projects!

This year I am using "The Prairie Primer" with Jeremy and Elyse
for literature, writing and Home Economics!
It's too much fun!
SOOOO we HAD to learn to knit!
The top one is mine and Elyse's. The bottom one is Jeremy's
Cameron and Michael didn't want to be left out, but I didn't have anymore needles.
This is what they came up with....
Yes... Tent stakes!
This one is Cameron's
I think Michael undid his. =(

Some school projects!

There are many ways to use milk!
This year we learned how to make butter!
We didn't have a churner so we cheated a little by using a
mason jar!
We still had fun!

This other project was learning the different densities of liquids!
It was fun seeing how many liquids we could get "piled up".
I think we did come up with 6 in the end.
And yet the one on the right didn't come out too well.

Michael's 13 1/2 yr. photo shoot!
Finally!!! =)

I am kind of late taking and posting pictures.
I know you will understand...=)

Volleyball

I never dreamed that so soon our kids would be playing two on two in our back yard.

"I think I will have a seat on my own traveling cushion and watch the game."

WOW!!!

I really can say a whole lot more than that!
We have been sooooo busy with life here that I have neglected my blog.
I can't believe how fast this month flew by.
Now I'm left with a jumble of things to try to figure out how to post.  Pretty funny!
Starting with Camps, birthdays, weddings, showers, school, cooking, house projects you name it.
Life is good!!!

Go-cart days are here once again!
The boys fixed it and now our neighbors are enjoying the beautiful music of the go-cart!

Little tikes love to be a part of
whatever is happening around here!

And little sister knows how to enjoy a ride with her brothers!

 Jeremy's 8th birthday!

 He got some storm-proof matches!

Boys and matches, knives, and squirrel calls!
What a birthday!
