Volleyball

I never dreamed that so soon our kids would be playing two on two in our back yard.

"I think I will have a seat on my own traveling cushion and watch the game."

WOW!!!

I really can say a whole lot more than that!
We have been sooooo busy with life here that I have neglected my blog.
I can't believe how fast this month flew by.
Now I'm left with a jumble of things to try to figure out how to post.  Pretty funny!
Starting with Camps, birthdays, weddings, showers, school, cooking, house projects you name it.
Life is good!!!

Go-cart days are here once again!
The boys fixed it and now our neighbors are enjoying the beautiful music of the go-cart!

Little tikes love to be a part of
whatever is happening around here!

And little sister knows how to enjoy a ride with her brothers!

 Jeremy's 8th birthday!

 He got some storm-proof matches!

Boys and matches, knives, and squirrel calls!
What a birthday!
Cameron turns 12!

If you are wondering...
Cameron asked for chocolate sheet cake.
That is why the candles are bigger than the cake!!!  =)

Monarch Butterfly in my flower garden.

I would show you my garden but it's not much!  =)

Elyse's first time making
 chocolate chip cookies by herself!

She didn't think she could do it.
I read the recipe and she followed the directions.
They were the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

The Mississippi Kites Take to the Sky!!!

I started out this beautiful day watering my garden with my camera on my shoulder.
I was so excited to have recorded the baby falcons flying!
God's Creation is so amazing...

One of the babies is not confident enough to fly so the mamma has to kind of push him off the branch.
The other one just follows.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the short clip.

This army hat belonged to Uncle Russell when he was drafted in the Korean War.
He passed it on to Eric when he was a little boy.
